All this turkey talk got me wanting it!
Made some stock with legs and backs and a smoked leg.
Browned some breast meat.
Added some ground turkey
Added the vegetables. half a bottle of white wine, stock, sage, cilantro and beans
NOTE: Shredded and added smoked leg meat
Cooked it down and added coconut milk
Topped with sour cream, sliced jalapenos, old white cheddar and sage.
Got the fix

Chris,
Thanks. I forgot to say that I shredded the smoked turkey leg meat and added it. Really gave it some flavour.

Steve,
That looks like a lot of work, but oh so worth it. If it tasted half as good as it looked you had a winner, even if you were not trying to get rid of left overs.

RJ,
Our Thanksgiving is in October. (CDN) I was so craving turkey I bought the stuff. It is a great way to deal with leftovers though.

Steve,
I'm sure the stock prep is worth the work, but how much time do you invest in chili? It looks great. I've done the stock for "Turkey carcass soup", but not for chili. I think it's time I took the time.

RJ,
I look at stock making as a separate cook. I yielded enough for Chrismas gravy and stuffing. I usually make stock in the evening and let it go overnight. It takes a while but not very intense.

Pat,
I was just craving turkey and that is about my favourite chili as well. Ended up with about ten jalapenos in there as well so the heat level was good.

JoJo,
It is really good. It's been a month and a half since our Thanksgiving and I always crave turkey after the Thanksgiving posts and pics.
