This will be my first Egged Thanks Giving which will be a big change for me as my old Weber Smoky Mountain rusts away. This is a special days as I will be cooking on a large Egg that was given to me by my son in-law as a gift before his deployment to Afghanistan wkth the 82nd Air Born.
Please take a moment and think about the Boys over seas and be Thankful for the blessing we all share in. Be thankful for living in this day and time where most of families have a computer, TV, AC ,a car or two and safety. Be thankful that we have food to eat in excess, clean water, relatively good health. Be extra thankful if you have a JOB. And even if all is not well in be thankful for the thinks you have had and will in the future. Never give up hope in what God has in store for you.

I am thankful for having a wife that puts up with my BS and let me get the BGE. I am very thankful for having a family that is healthy. Even with all the stuff that goes on life isn't as bad as we might think it is. Thankful for all the help and advice on the EGG. Sorry for asking "dumb" questions.

I am thankful for so many things this year... My new grandson that is here tonight with his mom and dad and they are spending the night so we can all be together tomorrow
my job, my family both near and far and for all the things that this great country stands for. and the men and women that put it on the line each and every day so we may have these things. and this forum and all the friends I have met and have yet to meet on here -
