I am going to cook my first fresh ham on new BGE and I can't find a recipe I like.
Suggestions or pointers please.
Indirect heat? Wrap in aluminum foil? Drip pan? Cut off rind? skin? How may beers per cooking? Hickory chips?

I was asking similar question last Friday...is your ham already cured??? Mine wasn't so ended up cooking like regular shoulder/butt (it was a picnic with leg, but have had picnic hams before  )
Indirect on grate over drip pan or in V-rack in drip pan.
We usually try our old favorites on the BGE to compare before venturing out -- heh, wait, Egging IS an Adventure Every Time :woohoo:
enjoy!
