Just got my order from "The Islands" , doesn't that sound nice. I'm thinking about doing one of our turkeys with it for Thanksgiving.Just a chunk or two, we don't like our turkey too smokey. Wondering what results or taste that anyone has gotten with it. We'll typically use apple or pecan for poultry but thought we'd give this a try. Any feedback would be great Thanks, Brett B)

I have been using guava or apple for 4-5 years and like the sweet soft flavor of them both. only use one or the other each cook. Carefull the poultry will pick up smoke flavor so use a little until you get to where you are comfortable with the smoke.
