Celebrate the start of summer and enjoy those long weekends grilling on a Big Green Egg! How about something new … try the Dos Equis “Most Interesting” Three Cheese and Chorizo Fondue, or a Gourmet Pizza with Prosciutto & Arugula for a different grilling experience! For all you traditionalists, you can’t top Stuffed Burgers cooked on the Big Green Egg! And be sure to catch up with the KCBS Great American BBQ Tour!
from reading this list of great weekend cooks! If I have a before and after picture, including one with my foot on the egg grid, can I qualify as the throwdown stuffed subject?
I didn't think so....
Bad luck - I have back up call tonight -(getting home too late to cook) so the Princess has ordered up a trip to the neighborhood's new Greek cafe (gyros, salads, waffle-cut sweet potato fries to die for with horseradish sauce)..Hmmm
Full call all day tomorrow (from home, but on for 24 hours), so can't make any cooking plans - good way to jinx myself and end up spending all day in the hospital.
Sunday -off - might be something in the works then !
I haven't done anything low and slow yet, so tomorrow I plan on changing that and breaking in the new plate setter at the same time.
Just got through seasoning up a 6.2 lb Boston Butt and putting it back in the fridge. Tomorrow early'thirty I'll be firing up the EGG to 250 and see what we end up with by the time the GA/Auburn game kicks off. Probably won't end up in the Dawgs favor, but I'm hoping the pulled pork will keep me from being disappointed.
Interested to see what pics everyone ends up posting.
I put a 10.15lb brisket on at 8:30 tonight, to be ready to take to a friend's house to watch the Texas-Baylor game tomorrow. 11AM kickoff, so I'm hoping the grub is ready!
