Starting with a shot of our theme poster
Photoegg and Lori getting ready for A LOT of cooking!
Photoegg and Spring Hen discussing what to do first
Car Wash Mike has his baby backs on and is settled in. Notice the BB Bacon and smoked cheese that Mike brought - Awesome. TJV, Photoegg, Lori, KU, DOW, Snoopy Dog Dog, and Sooner Chris are all gearing up to start.
Spring Chicken, Lori, Photoegg, and Snoopy Dog Dog
Mollyshark arrives with a very nice brisket
Then the after party. A fairly cheerful group for there being a shortage of alcohol and all!
TJV
KU and a real keen guest
THE Spring Chicken himself
Our venerable host, Hornhonk with Photoegg and Desert Oasis Woman. Things are beginning to wind down.
The afterparty wasn't as wild as OKC but it was a long day of cooking and eating and we enjoyed the evening.
Thanks again to Hornhonk for setting this whole thing up and ensuring that we were not lacking in anything we needed.

Nice pics Frank. Still waiting on that email with the Bloody Mary recipe.

Sure looks like Hornhonk and co. did a great job. Hopefully I can make it next year.

Frank, it was great seeing you again. But, who stuffed the pillow under my shirt? LOL
Great Beef ribs.

Probably the same one who stuffed a mattress under mine. Damn, I look like a pregnant pelican :ermm:

His smile expresses the good vibes we all experienced all weekend
Put me in line for the Bloody Mary Recipe, too, please (shhh, don't admit to anything  ) -
Thanks for the pictures. I don't know why the rest of the cooks aren't as pretty as Molly.
Maybe next year we can make it. -
Her RIDE was far prettier :woohoo:
And what an entrance !!! -
Thanks for the pic's. It was so nice to meet the people of the forum. Please pass on how you did the beef ribs -WOW....Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

The key to the ribs is starting with good ribs. I get mine from a meat purveyor that dry ages beef for restaurants and retail sale. They trim the the racks from 28 day prime ribs and sell them as a by-product for $1.99 a pound.
Other than that, a little mustard, some Cowlick and 5 to 6 hrs at 225 grate with a little mesquite. -
Frank,
Shoot me an email with the Bloody Mary recipe if you don't mind. That stuff was awesome, and I love me some Bloody Marys, especially AFTER a morning in a hot dove field. :woohoo: -
