So I just got my Tru Tel Thermometers in the mail. One each for my Large and Xl, and one for my Mini. Should I check the calibration, or just put them in?

I checked the 2 I ordered a while back and both were dead on. My guess is that they calibrate them before shipping. -
I checked mine before placing in the Eggs. Both were dead on. Only takes a minute

Why are you changing them out? mine (BGE ones) still work fine, do they stop working? just see this alot and was wondering why? Mine are dead on...

How do you decide what to order. Most would only to 500.
Could not find a BGE area.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers. -
