Thawed out some ground chuck the other night for burgers, realized I was out of buns. I wanted a burger so I improvised and made this bunless burger. Topped with a layer of grilled onion and bell pepper, slice of provolone, another layer of onion/ pepper and a slice of mozzarella. Topped at the end with some heated pizza sauce. Was very tasty, will do it again some time.

Those are sure bun-less JB try portobello mushrooms sometime for buns

Wow....and great way to cut the carbs! Less carbs from the buns means you can have more beer during and after the cook
