A friend dropped off a few nice pompano a few weeks back and I finally got around to cooking them.

Lined a steak plate with lemon slices and dill - dill and fish like each other B)

filleted the pompano and seasoned with DP Ragin River

Veggies to go with the pompano

More Veggies - Spicy Beans, Olives, and Bloody Mary mix, and Lemon Wedge (a fruit jumped on board with the veggies B) )

Put the veggies on the SBGE 20 minutes before the fish - little EVOO and Tony Chachere's on the Veggies

Thanks to my friend's bride for letting him geaux fishing  and thanks to my friend for dropping off the fish

You are killing me here! Pompano is my favorite fish and I have not had any since we moved from Tampico, Mexico, back to the US.

    That looked absolutely fantastic!

Looked like a lot of stuff on a small. I had to keep going back to look at that picture.

    Hey Frank,

Your cook looks great. Haven't had pompano - it's a white fish so I'd think it's a mild (not fishy) tasitng fish?

This is why i plan to buy a Mini Egg. that I can follow your recipe when I am in Florida. I did some Pompano on a nasty gas grill last week in Fla and it just did not turn out.
This look amazing!!!! Thanks for posting.
