Just made my reservations for Friday and Saturday night. It's about a 2 hour drive so I'll get there sometime on Friday night between 7 - 8pm. I'm not bringing my EGG but will cook, if needed Saturday or for the after party Saturday night. Just let me know what I need to do.
BTW, my dad owns a frozen food wholesaler. I can get spares by the case if you want me to bring a case. I'm can get em for a good price.

Hate to ask what it's going to cost you with your wife...
Don't worry about bring food to cook. I believe we will have way more than we can eat.
If not quality stores are "very" close and it will save you from packing coolers. I'm going to buy when I get to town as well.

I know, I know. Just want to contribute. You want me to bring the digiQ II have? Will we need it? -
The Guru is great for longer cooks and great when you can't stay in the area to watch temps. I don't think I would bother setting one up. But again, you will not be stopped.
If you find something local that you would like to bring down and cook great. If not I'm told there are many great places to shop in the area to fill gaps if needed. This is a first time event and I think we are all going to wing it and just focus on meeting new people and having a good time.
