Cured smoked salmon .. thirdeye style

Just tried thirdeye's salmon recipe. Super tasty!!! Better then anything store bought I must say. One filet is gone the other vacuumed sealed in the fridge. BTW what is the shelf life in the fridge for a smoked salmon filet???

If you think the cure made its way all the way to the core, the shelf life in a vacuum bag is very, very long. A month, no problem. Another factor is how long you smoked it and what the final internal temp is. I've gone 3 months using the wet cure method at the link below. Scott

Boy, does that look good. Nice job. It's always better the day after, so you are in for a real treat when you break back into it.
My method is really a flavor cure, using smoke to tie everything together. Four to five days would be the longest time I would trust it.
