Anyone know if this sauce is available at Safeway or Giant stores in MD? I've read a few threads on pizza sauces and this supposedly is pretty good allthough i don't know where to find it. Don't remember seeing it at safeway. Thanks. :side:

Call Dei Fratelli at this #1-877-592-6736 and they will give you the tele # of the distributor in your area to see which markets in your area carry it. That's how I found it where I live. The sauce is very good.....very fresh tasting for canned and a little on the tart side which I like in a pizza sauce. Good luck. Mark

Check and find a Harris Teeter near you.I buy mine when I go to the beach every weeekend and not had any luck finding it in the Baltimore area. There is one located in Columbia 410-290-5902.Hope this helps. They do have great products.

Do you know they sell it there? That's where you get it from? I just called Hirzel distrobution and they said the closest i would find it would be in Pa or Ohio. Yeah, i definately can do columbia if they have it.

Thanks Darnoc, got off the phone with Harris Teeter. At first they said they didn't carry it but asked her to check again and they do have it. She says she's got it in her hand. Wanted the 8oz can but i think all they have is 15oz. oh well. guess i can freeze/refrigerate it. Better than the $10 to have it shipped. :side:

It's not available in Southern California, so I called and ordered a case--painless. It's delicious, but doesn't keep long in the refrigerator if you don't use the whole can at once. I'll freeze the leftover sauce next time.

To preserve the leftover sauce, I use a mason jar, and vacuum out the air using my foodsaver (needs the jar adapter). Works like a charm, and I can keep away the fuzzies for at least 2-3 weeks. Maybe longer.
