Congratulations Dizzy Pig and BBQ Guru!!

It was a great weekend at the American Royal Competition in Kansas City.
Congratulations to BBQ Guru team for winning 2nd place in ribs, 16th in brisket and 15th overall in the Invitational which had 106 teams. They also placed 15th in pork in the Open. Big congrats to Dizzy Pig for 10th in ribs and 36th overall out of 500 teams in the Open. What an AMAZING job these guys did.
I want to thank our good friends on the Dizzy Pig team (Chris, Chuck and Brian) and the BBQ Guru Team (Kenny, Bob, Joe and Brent) for their hospitality. We had a great weekend of friends, food and fun and LOTS of laughs. What an experience to be at a competition of this magnitude.
We got to meet Bill Arnold, the creator of Blues Hog BBQ sauce and his 3 beautiful little girls. We're keeping him in our prayers, he's still battling brain cancer. His determination and faith in god have carried him through this difficult and courgageous battle.

Julie, that little dog in the piggy outfit is Stella, the "Fat Angels" team mascott. They got 1st out of 500 teams in ribs in the Open. That's unbelivable!! I'm looking forward to seeing you and Neil in Atlanta.
