I was watching Dinner, Drive Ins, & dives and the gal cooking used a cut of meat she called a New York Tri Tip. I've cooked alot of tri tip and looked nothing like any I have ever cooked. It was curved with a fat cap over one half. Anyone know about that cut of meat. Thanks, Tom

You know, with the inflated ego of the Noo Yawkahs, they would probably unabashedly appropriate a cut of meat and just rename it New York something! Look what they did with the Kansas City strip steak, they just stole the cut and renamed it New York strip. Whats next, New York Spares? :-)
