Son and friend coming for the day, requested Spaghetti and Meatballs [which I prepared totally on the Medium BGE on Friday]...meatballs must be part beef, part pork...added lots of garlic, parsley, milk soaked crusty bread, egg, S&P....got a bit "browner" than desired, but not overcooked!! Gonna get them in a short while :woohoo:

that looks really good!
Is that Parmesan rinds in your sauce I see? Great way to infuse some nice flavor in there. -
"Stole" some of the sauce to make Friday's dinner - Veggie Lasagna with eggplant and portabellas layered with pesto, cooked on Egg, of course!
Think any will be missed?? -

:P Sure is! Grated several and put in meatballs, too. What a good eye you have, MaXim -
No offense Kari, but that looks yummier than the meatballs!
If ya don't tell anyone what you cooked might be a plan!

The Lasagna looks great,
One of the guys at the Cdn Eggfest made one too.
I'm going to try making one too!

The meatballs looked good but the lasagna put me over the edge! I love portabellas. Great looking cooks.

Great job, looking good. Wish we had smell- a- vision on this site.

Looks great, one of my favorite meals.
The First Mate makes the meat sauce and I make he marinara sauce. She puts raisins in her sauce and likes to throw in a leftover pork chop if available. -
Two fine-looking meals indeed, DOW. Thanks for posting!
I see you're using a cast iron grate. Is that to help with the meatball sear?
Do you use any smokewood? -
Thanks Dave . Used a small chunk of Cherry. Used the flat side of cast iron, which I've been seasoning up a bit more often these last 2 weeks...brushing on some grape seed oil. Used CI Flat for heat and ease of turning ( ), but should have waited about 5 more minutes before putting meatballs on....

 must be that cooler weather from Yankee lands drifting down

She's a lot Italian.
