thank you much,, it was good and there was lots of adult beverage time as it cooked in it's own juices..
maybe i should plant some chickens for next year :S -
it was real comfort food .. other than the chicken it was out of my garden ,, hopefully once more this season,,, but mix fresh corn with the maters and pass on the nudels

thank you.. i did drink well and this was really quite simple .. cleaning the tomatoes was the most time consuming part, and that did not take long .. great use of the excess tomatoes

Great looking cook and I can't wait to give it a try but I do have a question on what pan to use. As I don't have a cast iron pan do you think Pyrex would be a good substitute? And just one more thing, approx how long to finish @ 450.

That was beautiful and looks delicious. I want to try this with my garden contribution, although I'll have to buy tomatoes since mine are embarrassingly small.
