Had a piece of leftover onion for steak

After doing the pork tenderloin the other night I had a piece of onion leftover. It was cut down both sides just leaving the center portion and after looking at it I thought of the Blooming Onion but just a part of it.Since it was not a Texas sweet or Vivaldi I added just a pinch of sugar to the evoo and Itialian seasoning mix.It was a last minute thing so it only sat in the mix for one hour.
Put steak on and cooked three min per side along with the onion. Then removed and let it rest together. After a five minute rest I removed the onion and put it back on the Egg for the last fifteen minutes.
Then enjoyed din din.I was more curious as to how the onion turned out and it was tasty.

Let he onion with evoo and Itialian spice rub marinate for one hour.Since Texas sweets or equal were not in the supermarket I added just a pinch of sugar to the mix.The onion was cooked at 700 or so for three minutes per side along with the steak and both were flipped at the same time then brought all of it inside to rest. After five minutes I took the onion back to the egg and let it finish up for the next fifteen minutes.

I thank you my fellow Eggers for the kind words. My main concern was how would the onions turned out.The next time if you like your onion soft nuke it for forty seconds.I was about to blame the network for the info not showing up but it might have been that new flavor that Sam Adams came out with.A 9.2 on the Richter scale I think.
