I'm going to fix to pork butts for pulled pork, if I put them on the upper rack could I do a brisket underneath?

Sure can....I do it all the time.

Ok, since I've never done pork or brisket, what's the best way to do the two together as far as temp., rubs, etc.

Lill Prophet's Mom,
The brisket isn't going to take as long as the pork.

Sorry to hijack post but I am planning on the same thing tomorrow night. About how much earlier will a brisket be done? I know that is probably a tough question, go by temp right? I plan on putting on at about 11PM

What about the drippings? Wouldn't you need a drip pan below the butts to keep the brisket from getting dripped on? Seems like you'd then need a triple decker grid.
