After 5 years of collecting recipes and about 100 of my own BGE ones, starting to think about posting them on a site or blog or whatever and just reference it. Have no clue where to start. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Did you ever get to the office for the package? Let me know if you want to make your own rubs. My first recipe will be LOONEY!

Picked it up today. Thanks a million!

Must be nice to cruise by the office on THURSDAY! Sounds like a bookie I know, he drops by his office--local pub-- on thursday or friday. LOL

Oh yeah....That would be great!!
Are you still using the Living Cookbook? Sounds like something I should look into. -
Yes version 2005.

Richard,
Blogspot.com is really easy to use. They walk you through all the steps. http://www.blogspot.com You'll be up and running in no time.

Do you find that the 2005 version is better? If so, can that version still be obtained? TIA
-
Not sure if 2005 is still available. I have run the 2005 and 2008 parallel for the last 26 days and like 2005 for how I use it.

When are you going in for the 'tune up'?
Wayne uses a blog for his Playing With Fire and Smoke. He was saying something about being able to back it up, I can't remember if the blog was easy or hard to back up. You should email him. He is also setting up a web site.
A lot of people use GoDaddy for web sites. I have been wondering the same thing web site for what we were talking about the other day.
You have so much information, I would think you would need something that will lend to indexing pretty easily.

I used google's free service Blogger (blogspot) too. It's pretty simple and easy to learn. I use it to post photos of my little girl for her grandparents to download, so I don't clog up our email services with too many big photos.

There's Blogger/Blogspot (Google blogger), which is free and easy, but not very customizable.
There's Wordpress, which is also free, not as easy, but more fully featured.
The problem with any of the free services is that your content sits on their servers and you don't have a copy. I've lost stuff on both the free version of Blogger and Wordpress.
I still use Wordpress, but now I use it through my internet hosting service. I pay $15 a month for the service, but they support Wordpress as part of that price and I get to host my content and my backups on my Web server. I thought I lost a ton of content a couple of months ago (my fault) and they had me back up and running in about 20 minutes.
