another stash of lump

Last fall I posted this picture of a special stash of 120 pounds of lump I hid from my wife as she doesn't understand my need for having at least 360 pounds on hand and another 120 on top of that would blow her away!

Over the year I retrieved bags from my trunk and she was never the wiser...

Well yesterday I made another purchase of this 120 pound winter reserve and she who must be obeyed doesn't know about it! hehehe

    I know what your going through.
    When I get under 500 lbs I start to get the shakes, dry heaves, and sweaty hands.
    The wife thinks it's the dt's from drinking to much little does she know.
    Its low lump lamenting.

    On things Eggish, my wife is gracious, and lets me indulge. But I still limit the winter hoarding to 40 lbs at a time. Its pretty funny, I think, to go from looking at "food porn," and then be even more taken with "lump porn." :laugh:

    the last 3 years we competed at the Jack Danials and each yr they gave away 2 bags of egg or primo lump. they also had pallets full for the taking near the pavilion. I accumulated 12 bags b4 I got my first egg a month ago. I got 2 xl and one L. today we are practicing bb on the xl with the digiq2 and tenderloin /chx vegies on sticks on the XL. earlier today I told the wife we need to get more lump from the pallets this yr. She suggested we have enough for several years. If she only knew......

    We have such addictive personalities, don't we?! Lump porn, indeed!

    I never really thought about hoarding lump, because I always used Kingsford on the Weber... and I can ALWAYS find that. Now that I have an Egg and have seen the lump light, I may have to hoard some myself! Winter's comin' here in New England!

    I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

    I cleaned out one of the local Walmarts yesterday of their last 170 pounds plus the 240 that I already had. I might make it to spring. :ermm: If not there is Ace hardware and the Dealer. :)
