Starting My Table Project

I'm planning a table for a Large BGE that I will probably start cutting wood on in September once my garage cools down. That leaves me with a few weeks to tune my design. I have 72" of space so I will probably use all of it for future Egg expansion.

Here is what I have so far:

The layout has structure for another large (or small) on the opposite end. I am assuming 1x6 and 2x4 cypress. I plan on using tiles for the upper heat pad that will match an outdoor tile top table that we use. I'm considering an enclosure with a door, but I am concerned about it being a haven for bugs and spiders if I close it up.

Feedback is appreciated.

Thanks.
