LAST NIGHT'S COOK: Shark!

Did up some chicken thighs for fajitas/quesadillas, and also grilled up some shark which my buddy caught off the Texas coast last weekend in Port Aransas:
Wanted to see how it would turned out, so I just used some basic seasonings. Pretty interesting texture, and the kids loved the fish!

I thought the shark got you. Have not seen you around in awhile :ohmy:Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

Mickey,
The heat has kept me out of the backyard cooking on the eggs. I'm just cooking out there every now and then, which is about once a week. I'll be out there a lot more when the temps start going down... -
They were so excited to eat some when I told them what it was!
-
...on Discovery Channel. The kids and I have been watching that, and they were pretty curious to try some shark.
-
My buddy who had the shark cleaned said that next time, he'll have it done locally (instead of over there at the coast) because they only did filets, and not steaks.
-
Thanks, Kent! Not a bad fish, or at least not as bad as I remember it to be years ago...:)
-
Not really sure what kind of shark it was, but here is a picture my buddy sent me when I asked about it:
