I have a number of pork butts in the freezer.[p]Considering making a roast out of some of them.[p]Any thoughts on using them for other than pulled pork will be appreciated.[p]

KL, try poking one full of garlic and giving it a rub with montreal steak seasoning, cook it at 350-375 until internal is about 175 degrees, let it rest about half hour, slice and serve.

  • KL,
Shredded pork is always great but we also use it for slicing on to sandwiches, toss it in a salad, put into cornbread, stuffed ABT'S, but the best is to make some smoked pulled pork tamales and we have a vacume packer to freeze them in. A couple of weeks ago we had a tamale party with 3 other families and made over 400 and packed them, still have some, just boil and eat, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
