Lump outdoor water proof storage?

Wifey is on my case about the bag of Lump I have sitting around. She would like it if i could find a Waterproof container to put under my Grill Table.

WHat are good options to store the Lump outside so it doesnt get wet or conduct moisture? I dont have alot of room. It will need to fit under my table.

Go to WalMart and check all their plastic storage bins. Find one that fits and you are good to go.

Rubbermaid or similar "tub" box, whatever you want to call em...find the one that is shaped best for your needs and you're good to go..

Kingsford makes a charcoal caddy. Thats what I use. It only holds a little over 10 pounds though. I just saw some yesterday. They are black now with a blue lid. Have a flip top for pouring. Mine is clear.

Go to Home Depot and get the orange 5 gallon buckets. The lids have a rubber gasket in them to keep out moisture. Cost about $4 each.

+1 on the Kingsford caddy. It is perfect and you can pour it right in. Lowe's has them. Mine has been through several mighty storms and is absolutely waterproof.

Be aware that if left out in the sun the UV will tear them up after a couple of years. The blue tops end up very brittle. :(

Suncast single seat storage box works great for me. Also doubles as a seat when needed.

The Kingsford Kaddy work great for me. Always out in the sun, rain, snow. The only problem is the UV will harden the blue top and it breaks. I have to repurchase every year to year and a half.

If you want something a little larger the Rubbermaid commercial grade cans are super heavy duty and they have wheels available. They have a 44 gal capacity so you could put several bags of lump in them (smaller ones also available). You can also get several desiccant bags if you live in a humid area.
