Looks like the storms are moving in later this year in the afternoon. Ever time I plain on cooking on the Eggs a storm is brewing up. Or is it me with a dark cloud over my head. LOL Happy Egging-I am trying anyway.

LOL!!! You need what I have, a screened porch with a 20 foot peak!! I've gotten wet one time and that was during a driving rain with over 50mph winds.

    Hey Mike,

Must be that dark cloud cause I haven't seen it rain in a long time. That being said I'll probably get dumped on tonight. So far this is one of the driest summers I have had in the past 25 years. The afternoon thunderstorms are one of those "remember the good 'ol days" things we just don't see anymore.

Quit your whinning! :woohoo: Your Egg doesn't mind getting wet, why should you. Our brothers and sisters up north cook on their egg when it is snowing, what is a little water. Ya don't melt do you? :silly: :silly: :silly:

Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 6 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

It only snows when it's warm out. It's the time/temps when it doesn't snow that can be challenging. It never snows when it's around 5 degrees and less. So 20 below and no snow can get a guy watching temps from inside the patio door. I would much rather egg in the snow or ever 5 below than in the rain.

Hope the family is rebounding well. I have a darn funeral for my grandmother on Friday. Lifes tough and I can always count on one thing to hang my hat on. My Eggs

We're right there with ya, bub! We have had 14 weekends of rain since the end of April - I think that pretty much covers'em all  :( ...I used it as an excuse to buy a mini so I can cook in my garage - under cover!
