Very nice...."somebody hates these oil cans"

I find John McClane more my speed.
  • I remember the ex-wife getting angry that I was spending so much time on this forum, and that was three moves ago, so the 1998-1999 time frame anyway. I'm don't have a clue when the forum actually started.

I've seen a lot of people come and go over the years, and have been through periods of inactivity myself. It's like life, people come in and out, some stay and are remembered, some aren't.

I had you pegged for more of a:

    1.e4 e5
    2.Qh5 Nc6
    3.Bc4 Nf6
    4.Qxf7#

    type of player.

And if you were going to design for a living, why not be more of a Harley Earl type?

Well, I have read some Sun Tzu. His teachings prepared me well for challenges such as yours.
  • stikestike Posts: 15,597
hmmm. that reference is maybe a little too well known around here for this thread.

i would imagine, though, that i apply his teachings figuratively, whereas i'm sure your application of same was entirely literal. meaning? don't F with rod.

when is the Hibernian Lupus going to chime in?

viz: "If your opponent is of choleric temper, seek to
irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant.
    "

anyhoo. i wonder if anyone is reading this far...

Well, the Tzu ref was more from a "know thine enemy" perspective, but yea, don't F with me before I get all "Carl von Clausewitz" on you.

And no, I don't think anyone is reading this far.
