But with chicken :P
Hung a dozen each of wings & legs. Both were coated with swamp venom and shakin the tree. The hangers really make it an easy cook

Pat, did the same thing, tried the drying thing too, worked great like you said, I did 1/2 swamp venom & 1/2 Firewalk, both spectacular, but I think I like the venom better, will be drying them out from now on if I have the timehappy in the hut

I just checked the whole PB album and couldn't find a salad pic Got one you could send me

These only sat in the fridge for 45 minutes but still dried enough to crisp up pretty good. I like combining swamp venom with different spices mostly shakin the tree.

Where did you get the hangers?
-
Pat,
I'll go to the marhet tomorrow and make one with arugala, watercress, spinach and bok choy. I know you have no idea what any of those things are but you will be able to photoshop it in to all your cooks.

Most big box stores have them. I think these came from Lowes at less than $6.00 each

Is that the green stuff the wife eats and they try to feed you at restaurant's ?? :S

Marc,
If you have a sifter, try putting a tiny coating of corn starch on after you season them. Just like fried.

You're half right.

Pat, Great looking. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
I have tried drumsticks on the hangers, but the skin was not as crispy as I like. I will try to dry them in the frig next time.
1) Did you dry them in the hangers in the frig?
2) Obviously indirect, but what temp and about how long (planning info)?
3) Can't tell if that is an elevated grid?
BTW, the "Princess" LOVES Pineapple Head on chicken! -
1) just laid them out on newspaper in the fridge uncovered.
2) between 375 & 400 indirect
3) With the racks about as high as you can go is plate setter legs up and the grate on top -
Thanks, Pat. I'm gonna give that a try. We're about to make a Sam's run and I will be picking up more packages of thighs and now some drumsticks!
