Hey Julie; my husband was looking at eggs today at the local dealer. He thinks a mini is way too small and wouldn't even do two steaks. You have a mini right-that's what you use most of the time ? I can't convince him.

Hey Julia(AKA Mark's sister) :P Here's a few mini pics for ya
Leftover sliced sirlion for cheesesteaks:
Here's a couple Italian sausages:
A couple steaks(filets):
Some fish(salmon if I recall correctly):
Here's a couple bigger steaks:
And here's four burgers on the mini:
The mini is a great egg,and I love mine.I find myself firing it up a few times a week for quick(weeknight)cooks -
faith is a better one to show some impressive cooks on the mini! but here are a few Pizza
chicken legs
calzone -
Thank you for the pics! I absolutely can't believe I'm even considering another--I've only had my large three weeks! Hmmm...that mileage check is right around the corner! haha :P

Thanks Julie! I think the mini would be very cool! I'm jealous of all the 'fest talk! I want to go to one now and they're all so far away! Maybe next year...we'll plan ahead!

Hi Julia. I met your brother at the Waldorf fest. He is one great buckboard bacon maker.
Here are some mini pics:
4 lb. spatchcock
stuffed, rolled pork loin - 9" long - feeds 4
3 very large stuffed chicken breast
alot of marinated chicken
8" cst iron skillet with handle cut off
pizza - I did 8 of these one night
stuffed portabella mushrooms and stuffed mushrooms
a 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish fits
lotsa hors d'oerves
chargrilled oysters
potstickers
About the only thing I tried that didn't fit was romaine lettuce, still got it cooked though!
I cook on it all the time, can't you tell??? It holds enough lump to go at least 4 hours on 400 degrees. I usually just keep putting more and more food on til the fire goes out.
You will love the mini.
Faith
TampaHappily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!
3 Large, 1 Small, 1 well-used Mini -
I think if you were a single guy the biggest question you need to ask a potential date is if she can cook on a mini!!! You gals are great!!!
