Last year I built an egg table which served it's purpose, but needed a little fashion help. Due to a large gathering on the 4th, I took vacation last week and decided to add an outdoor bar/kitchen area and egg home to my deck. It needs trimmed and painted but worked out great on Saturday. There was enough room to have 3 cooks working the egg. I smoked a 12# sirloin tip roast on Friday nite and sliced it thin for sandwiches on Saturday. One of my guests brought a brisket that needed warmed along with marinaded asparagus spears, and another brought a marinated whole filet that needed grilled. I was too busy to get any in action shots, but here is how the project turned out so far.
I used steel studs and Certainteed Stucco Siding (cement board) along with Azek trim. The bar top is granite tile. Everyone congregated there on Saturday, which worked out exactly as planned.

What a great place to entertain and cook with your egg. Very nice!

Nice to have a place to congregate while cooking or after the cook.
Good luck! -
Sweet Setup and a Great View of the back yard.

Looks very nice. I am taking notes of all these out door kitchen area for when I get around to doing mine. Thanks for posting.

Great job! Nothing like low maintenance materials. Post some photos when you have it finished.

Great job! You do nice work!

Very Nice - Eggcelent work
BTW - I see you have eggcelent storage for Eggcerories under the black cover in the last photo
Great view -
Thanks for all the comments! The eggcessories do have a home, but not under the black cover! That's the back-up/extended area cooking vessel  (or a Jenn Air NG 3 burner)
I'm still kicking around the idea of putting a sink directly across from the egg and maybe some additional workspace. My job is to get it trimmed out & prepped this week so my wife can do the painting. (her contribution, along with holding the golf umbrella over the workspace while I was laying tile!)
