I am so furious I could spit nails. When we got home from Fl I had vented on here about the condition of our house, missing items, dishes full of cig butts and burnt counter tops and the break in at my folks just to list a few of the things that happened while a "friend" house sat. I was just in our down stairs bathroom looking for the dogs conditioner for their shampoos and found a zip lock bag in the back of the cupboard. it had about 15 syringes in it. thank god they are all capped on the sharp end. there is a tin of some other stuff and my head is just spinning. I do not think it is the woman I had staying here, I think it is her son who stole our check book and he and a friend wrote them self's some checks. unreal... freakin unreal

    Oh I have, they are coming to get them. just opened the whole mess back up for us and I had gotten to the point I was only having it pop in my mind about 5 times a day instead of 100. now I am paranoid about reaching in anywhere and getting stuff. what a mess and a waiste

    she is in a homeless shelter. I felt horrible when she went there. but she is trying to get in to the "system" and keep our tax dollars at work :( after today I do not feel so bad. she is lucky I could not get my hands on her. Neil also just discovered his chain saw is missing. it is hard to check if things are missing till you go to use them sometimes. he was going to cut apple wood to send to a few people...

    holy cr^p....

    we rented our house trailer in vermont to a family friend's kid.

    after they moved out, we went up there and found cases of empties under the porch, along with my father's stereo, a mounted deer head missing, stolen VCR, and every last one of my great grandfather's old fishing reels, dog trophies, etc. all gone.

    we had a guy a few years back stealing gas on the weekends and filling his drug dealers cars. had him escorted out of the shop on a friday in cuffs, he wanted to know if he still had a job on monday :laugh: happens all the time, just last week someone broke into the beach house and stole a bag of wicked good comp blend, a pound of witchey red rub, and to top it off they left a stinkey old rotten piece of duck breast in the fridge. :whistle:
