Newbie Question ... Turkey Breast

Gettin ready to do a bone in Turkey breast ... thinkin about putting on a rub and then doing it slow at about 250 ..... I don't have time for brining and all ..... should this work ???

well i don't know, but i think so. I would take many hours. Do it by checking the internal temp. or slow cooking for a long time then popping it into the oven to finish it... but then it would be slow cooked hummmm... well thats what I think about it (dry turkeys don't go down well keep it moist!)

I cooked a bone in turket breat yesterday. I cooked it indirect at 325 for 2 -2 1/2 hours. I took it off when the breast reached 160 degrees. I used softened butter mixed with garlic salt & onion salt. I rubbed it all over the turkey and basted it every 30 minutes or so. It was delicious...
