First cook with DP rubs

Here is my first try with wings and Dizzy Pig rubs.

6 Raging river
6 Shaking the tree
6 Dizzy dust.

I like them real crispy and they came out pretty good!

I've got a cabinet full of rubs and my hands down favorite right now for wings is DP Red Eye Express. Absolutely amazing taste. It doesn't really taste like coffee when cooked, but there is definitely a complex/rich taste that I've never had from another rub.

I do 'em at 375 on a raised grid with an ample dose of apple wood smoke. Fantastic

It's a tough call they were all very good.

I think I would go with Shakin the tree for the citrus / pepper taste.

I was a bit in a hurry my son was hungry so did them at 400 with plate setter legs up and some cherry / apple wood chips.

I also bought red eye so I will give it a try next time.

Almost serious,,,,, great product. Try the Jamaican Firewalk on chicken!
