    Smokin' Jacket,
It seems that the pizza is not on a pizza stone. If not, is this your usual method?

BTW, you have a very nice backyard and I am jealous of your pool.

I've got an atta-boy for the first Egger who figures out how to install an Egg so it (s)he can cook while still in the pool. It'd make a million.
  • thanks for the compliments on the pool & yard.

The pizza is sitting on parchment paper, which is sitting on a pizza stone, which is sitting on a raised/foldable grid, which is sitting about 3" above the standard grid, which is sitting on the plate setter, which of course is sitting in the egg, which is sitting on the deck by the pool.

That is a whole lot of sitting and a fantastic looking pizza.

    Good job

  • Is the parchment paper the key to getting the dough not to stick? I always have the hardest time getting the dough from the prep table and onto the egg without messing it up. I use corn meal, but that hasn't helped too much either.
