I was in Woodlands Market (HEB) yesterday and they had whole USDA Prime rib-eyes (in the bag) for $5.95 a pound! Cut rib-eyes were $7.99 (also Prime).

Might want to check local HEB's for similar action.

    Thanks for the heads-up. I just bought some at Sam's Club yesterday but they certainly were not prime. I may make another run.

    Thanks for the heads up. Sounds like a road trip to the Woodlands is in order. Buy a bunch of rib eyes and save enough to buy a R9 at the new Golfsmith. Life is good.
