A very good ice cream recipe.

We were working on some ice cream recipes to go along with some grilled pineapple and peaches and I think we found it. I was given a recipe for "Cream Cheese Ice Cream" from a client that came from Better Homes and Gardens. This stuff rocks! It goes wonderfully with both the peaches and pineapple and even with a grilled pears. I also tried a batch with some cooked Key Lime Pie filling that was cooked on the stove and allowed to set up in the icebox, then folded into ice cream and allowed to ripen in the freezer. A few buttered and toasted graham cracker or plain toasted shortbread cookies sprinked over really set it off! If you have a chance and like cheesecake and ice cream, you shouldn't be disapointed. My wife and I have been making "Cream Cheeze" ice cream for about 3 years now, and it is always a hit at any party we bring it to. Usually if you want some you had better get it early!

We also have another recipe that is called "Chocolate Coffee Mocha" and it is a chocolate/coffee lover's dream come true. You use freeze dried coffee, bakers chocolate, and eggs and half/half. The custard has to be cooked, but it is well worth the trouble. It goes faster than the Cream Cheese.

Would you mind posting the recipe for the "Chocolate Coffee Mocha?" I bought my folks an old fashioned ice cream maker complete with hand crank a few years back. It would give them an excuse to pull it out of the cubbard and blow the dust off of it!! If they agree to make this flavor, I'll gladly do the cranking.
