I have a 3.5lb butt in a large egg. Letting the guru do its magic. Loaded the lump, used a charcoal chimney to lite a few coals, scattered some mesquite, put on placesetter-drip pan, grill, put the butt on a rack, attached dome probe to v rack at meat level, meat probe to meat, closed the lid. Guru is doing its thing. Fan ran full blast until dome temp reached--overshot by 2degrees, fan is off and its smoking. I kept ramp mode off on the guru so the meat temp would rise to 200 without interuption. Unfortunately still working with bbq guru on getting the cyber to talk to the lap top. Will use a thermo bag to hold the butt once its done (similar to those bags pizza delivery uses).
