Here the new egg in it's new standard nakedwhiz nest of cedar, granite, ceramic and brass. Thanks mate, it very nice up here on the shoulders of giants.
Here's where it will sit with respect to the door out of the kitchen.
Here's a picture from the same door to where I do all my work now, my part of the kitchen. If you look closely you can see the pot of water coming up to temperature for the initial thermometer calibration. There's another half of the kitchen off to the left you can't see where my wife does her magic.
That sink and the counter/bar are only three steps from the egg. And it all starts tonight :woohoo: .
And I get to keep my geek cred pictures worked first try!
Thanks everyone, particularly the NakedWhiz for all the help.

Sweet table! It is nice to have the BGE right outside the door--that's where mine are, too

Thanks! It was a big part of the kitchen reno to give better access to the porch from the kitchen.

You'll note that the cart isn't finished yet, just finished enough to hold the egg, I couldn't wait any longer wanted to cook this weekend.

We are not that far from redoing our kitchen. Tell me more about your sink and counter/bar setup! We are trying to work a small bar into the kitchen plans!

I love the work area inside the U. When we entertain it is completely out of the way for the cook, yet you are still in the middle of everything.
Let me know if you of want more details or pictures, probably through email.

How long did it take to make the table ? How thick is the tile/stone on top ?

Very Cool!

Given my desire and complete failure to be a good carpenter it was probably 15-20 hours of labour to get it where it is. Anyone who can screw and glue two pieces of wood at 90 degrees on a regular basis probably would be twice as fast.

Given that you know what a Rancillo and an Egg is you sir are clearly also a man of great taste . Thanks for the compliment back to cooking for me.
