Smoked Salmon

After getting my soldering iron... making chips out of a cedar plank... opening an artichoke hearts can I really wasn't going to eat otherwise I built my "smoking rig" set a large plate setter over Tom's hanger, a raised grid above that and the gravlax on top (which by the way, was amazing on its own before smoking)...
It looked like this...
It just began pouring down as I was finishing writing this... I hope it cools off the egg a little more hehe...
I also prepared the brioche dough for an overnight rise and to serve tomorrow evening...
Will let you know about the final results tomorrow...
Cheers!

I was wondering how it was going. Looking good so far. I want to do this soon. I think it is going to be out of this world.

Yeah hehehe... looking, tasting and smelling (I just love the smell of cedar)... I'm betting it will go great with the quail eggs "en brioche" tomorrow hehe
The only thing is, I don't know how long the can filled with chips is going to last... So I guess I'm gonna have to be waking up in the middle of the night to keep the tequila some company hehehe....

Looks good Pato, have a great party

I am looking forward to hearing how long the chips last. That looks like it could be a great way to do salmon or cheese.
