I have a thin tile 18"x18" under my extra large egg. Will that do?

decent chance it will crack/break from the heat. The thickness of the pavers will provide more support and separation from wood underneath.
-
I think you want the green feet under the Egg to allow for airflow. Then it would be a matter of weight.
-
Gulf...What are you separating the Egg from? Fire Bricks from Home Depot are always a safe bet...
-
Cheap fix is terra cotta plant pot feet. Get 'em at home center for about $1 each and you only need 3. Save the green BGE feet for raising your drip pan off the platesetter on low and slows.

No, it should be at least 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick. Using the three green feet also will help.

thanks for the advice
