A few weeks ago I mentioned that my wife had gotten a bad report on her last Mammography. Well since that last post we received her biopsy and unfortunately it did come back positive for cancer. Since then she has taken many tests and today we found out that she has a friendly cancer (I never know that there was such a thing). Fortunately it was caught very early and it is treatable, the prognosis is very good and the doctors do not think it has traveled to her lymph nodes. We already have an appointment for a second opinion and if nothing changes she will be operated on May 28th. Needless to say my son and I will not be attending Waldorf this year. So for all you ladies out there please let this be a heads up for you. My wife and all her doctors can not feel any lump. The tumor is 1.5 cm and only showed up on her Mammography. So please if you haven't gotten a Mammography in awhile go for one and for all you husbands if your wife has not gone for a Mammography make them go. Early detection is very, very important.
Everyday is Saturday and tomorrow is always Sunday.

    Dear Mr and Mrs. RailRoader,
We haven't met.I am kind of new at this BGE thing.
Firstly... Mrs. RailRoader, you will be in our prayers. Mrs. Grand Oeuf Vert, (and Mr.) is a survivor of what seems to be the very issues you are going through. Mrs. GOV's cancer was also found early. Surgery and Treatments followed almost imediately. Mrs. GOV is alive and well. Cancer free now for alomost 3 years.
Stay strong. Stay possitive. Obviously, Mr. RR, you'll be there for love and support. (Mrs. RR is going to need you.) The GOV household is living proof, cancer can be beaten. We wish you all the best. God Bless and we expect to see you Eggin' for many years to come!

I have a very good friend that went through what sounds like the same thing as your wife and Mrs. Gov. 6 years later and all is well with her. Thoughts and prayers are with your wife.

Glad to hear that the news, although not good, is as positive as it can be. As I said earlier, my wife is a breast cancer survivor for more than 20 years. Best of luck to you and I'm sure the outcome will be great! Will keep you guys in our prayers.

    Hi RR,

Although we've never met I am delighted to hear that your wife will be well with time. One of my oldest and dearest friends has been fighting the same situation all winter, she too will survive. Prayers and best wishes to you and your wife.

Mr. Railroader, Your words say it all!!! It is astounding how many people still bury their heads in the sand instead of taking a few, simple, annual
    precautions... :(

Keeping the faith that all will go well with the Mrs.
