Since I got the Mini I didn't want "Big Daddy" to feel left out so I tried this....next time I'll use less seasoning. Kind of salty but still good.
Tonight....

Allright...somebody explain this to me. If I made that, I'd call it burnt and throw it in the trash. You guys sure Prudhome ain't still laughing his ash off?

If you have ever tried it you would know how good it is. The spices are out of this world. Blackened steaks are also great!

Those look great!! I'm doing 20 lbs of cat blackened tomorrow along with 25 lbs shrimp differant ways included blacken, grilled shrooms and fresh garlic bread. Will not want to see another "blacken" post after tomorrow but tonight I'm now hungrey!!

Actually I use to think the same thing. In fact whenever I burnt something on the grill I would jokingly tell my wife it was blackened.
However, I have learned that it is the blakening seasoning that just makes it "black" in color not burnt.
Good stuff... go lightly it could get salty. -
Just try it.You'll be online trying to corner the market on "BLACKENING SEASONING". :woohoo:
