The XL is 24 inches in diameter. Does anyone know of a Rack that will hold a Packer's cut of Brisket which is about 20 inches in length?
Thanks

Why not cook it directly on the cooking grid?

Every recipe I read says place on a rack????

You're an Egghead now! Those rules don't apply!
Just be sure you have the plate setter in (wrapped with aluminum foil) and a drip pan. Then you are good to go and can put the brisket on the grid. -
Agree on above..
no reed for a rack at all. Direct on the grate.
Were those recipes possibly talking about cooking it on an indoor conventional oven ? If so, maybe it was to ensure the brisket was not sitting in a pool of it's own fat.
