The XL is 24 inches in diameter. Does anyone know of a Rack that will hold a Packer's cut of Brisket which is about 20 inches in length?

Why not cook it directly on the cooking grid?

You're an Egghead now! Those rules don't apply!

Just be sure you have the plate setter in (wrapped with aluminum foil) and a drip pan. Then you are good to go and can put the brisket on the grid.
  • Agree on above..

no reed for a rack at all. Direct on the grate.

Were those recipes possibly talking about cooking it on an indoor conventional oven ? If so, maybe it was to ensure the brisket was not sitting in a pool of it's own fat.
