Not from Carolina---born and raised in the north (PA and OH). I do love Carolina style BBQ though; can't beat slaw on the sandwich!! -

I used a little John Henry's Pecan rub and brown sugar. I would have liked to use more of the Pecan rub but didn't have much left in the bottle.
I'm going to order some butt rub and dizzy dust for the next cook!!!! -
