After two and a half years of Egging I finally broke down and purchased an adjustable rig and spider.

Wow! This is high quality stuff. It just arrived today - I can't wait to try everything out this weekend.

I use mine now on most of my cooks.

It was fantastic on a butt cook last week. Butts on top, drip pan on the middle rack. No platesetter necessary.

If you didn't get a spider, you better go back and reorder! :woohoo:

I am most always using the spider/rig combo.

Drip pan on the inverted spider and top grid for most cooks.

Using the Dutch Oven I sear using the Spider in normal position, then invert the Spider and cook on the inverted spider.

    Love the combo.

I purchased the adjustable rig and spider for my large and the Woo2 for my medium. They are the best accessories I've purchased to date for my Eggs.

I have the adjustable rig, spider and wok. I will order the woo2 when I get my med BGE out of it's box (currently sitting in my garage in its original packaging). So far I have found the usefulness of these items irreplaceable.
This is the greatest signature EVAR!
  • I have setteled on the adjustable rig but don't know which Egg to get it for yet XL or Lg? :ermm:

You are going to wonder why it isn't standard equipment on the egg. I love mine!
