it was actually considered low fat by the author, but im not able to follow recipes well. fried the meat with flour and oil for the gravey...bad, doubled veggies and added dried oyster and shittake mushrooms....good, used lite sour cream for the biscuites....dont know, basted biscuits with butter toward end of cook....bad, for the size of the cobbler keeping the topping lite ....good. atleast i tried  adding guinness to both the gravey and biscuit batter....well that has to be good

i used lite sour cream for the fromaige frais, pretty good with the chopped fresh herbs mixed in, real eassy recipe. it wasnt doughy enough mixed as shown so i added guinness to the batter to loosen it up, could have doubled the batter as well, i had to roll it out pretty thin, guinness glass for the cookie cutter, it was st pats day you knowfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -
also went 1 cup self rising flour to the half cup lite sour cream then the guinness, didnt follow quantities of meat to veggies and my batch was probably much biggerfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

Great looking dish you have there. There are so many things that Guinness can be added to a cook it is un real. You more than likely have checked out their web site to get some ideas if not do so.It is even good when you make your pizza dough instead of water.
