Spawn Update!!

Just got a call from Max and he asked me to post this update.....
The surgery was delayed a bit and Spawn didn't get in until around 2:00. About 45 minutes to an hour later, the Dr. came out and said that he was very pleased that he was able to graft 100% of the affected areas. That was huge, as they thought that there might have to be subsequent proceedures. Of course, they won't know if everything "took" until he unwraps the areas....tomorrow at the very earliest.
Regardless, the Rosens are very happy campers right now, and Max wanted everyone to know. He won't be at a computer until 9 or so tonight, and will follow-up with more details at that time.
Good Weekend to all.

Thanks for passing this good info on to us. I'm sure many all of us have been wondering how it was going.
Now we will keep our fingers crossed that the grafts take just fine.

One of the nice things about being an Egghead, especially one who has been an Egghead for many years, is that we get to see young people grow up and even a few old people grow younger as we plod along with our Egg inspired "Cult" practices.
The average Jane or Joe on the street would be hard pressed to find the support (both prayers and good vibes" that SPAWN is getting during her medical adventure. And most of that support comes from complete strangers except for the common denominator of the Egg. Somehow the word "stranger" just doesn't fit anymore.
As many people have pointed out, when one of us hurts we all hurt. Right now we're all feeling her pain.
But in a few days we will get the good news that everything turned out just like the doctors had hoped for. Then we can turn our "vibes" to celebration, only not until Max gives us the "go ahead and celebrate" order.
Get well and back to us soon Sydney. We all love you.

Prayers really do work! God is great! Thanks for the update.

I think the Spring Chicken said it all. The support of the forum members is so powerful. The thoughts, prayers, and good vibes are real and very powerful. It says a lot about how caring and supportive the forum members are. The Spawn is in good hands.

That is good news. I've been praying for her Max and Catherine. Gotta be hard on mamma not being able to be there earlier.
