quick SPAWN update

not on my computer this morning so thats why it looks like i'm a "guest" .. .

sydney continues to improve. ...still a couple of lingering issues with the pneumonia and these blisters/sores on her wrists that they have to get under control (sores/diabetes are always a major concern)... .we found out that there is a computer terminal here in the ICU that families can use and she sat here for an hour last night reading all of your posts and she was just totally overwhelmed with emotion like i was (and the rest of my family).. . .it meant a lot to her and when is able to actually type again i'm sure you will all here from her directly .. .

i'm gonna be heading back down to virginia in a little while today, thats gonna be tough. .. but my wife and i will be back up here on saturday whether she is still in the hospital or not .. . .my wife has a real need to "touch/feel/hold" her kid. ...

Reading about the progress is some really good news. Sydney is not one to sit back and take it, she is a fighter and she will be up kickin' (or smoking) a butt in no time!

Spawn, if you are reading this, and you are on morphine, I can only say, "gwer thuy deash pimpinikers gfunk"(as she read that, she was thinkingg, "Wow,what a concept").

Great to hear of her continued sucess in recovery. Let her know we are all still thinking of her! Thank God for cell phones, huh. At least she can still cuss at you,long distance as she improves. :whistle: I'm so glad I can joke a bit about this. :huh:
