Picked up some nice prime ribeye steaks and mongo scallops at the foo foo grocery store. Hit the bake shop and picked up some nice deserts too. Angela got me the branding iron for Christmas a year or so ago. I keep forgetting to use it. The kids got a kick out of it. Got to leave my "mark".

Nice Dennis, love those scallops and deserts. I'm sure Matthew is getting ideas in his head for that branding iron.

Walmart...better homes n gardens I think :woohoo:
Just bought two boxes of them. The wife was tired of our hodge podge of wedding present remnants and the various replacement pieces. -

I had the same idea with the weather turned warmer. Had Shrimp and rib eye's. No time for those lush deserts.

Dorothy Lane Market. Couple of locations in the Dayton Ohio area. Really nice but high end grocery store. I go there every so often for special treats (pre-made desserts), and really good meat and cheeses.
They are one of two stores around here that I can find hanger steak at. DLM has it for 9.99 a pound. The other is a country butcher shop where it is 1.99 a pound but it is a kinda far and I need to call day or so in advance for them to cut it.

Your cook looks great. By the way, what is the name of the 'country butcher' shop and where is it located? I usually buy my meat at DLM for the quality and lack of hormones and added water and stuff.
