Have some friends coming over about 6pm. Wish I would have gotten an earlier start. Wanted the ribs ready at 6 but didn't get them on the egg until 1:30.
Anyway here they are at 2:30
Here are the ingrediants for Banana Foster right out of the 07 Eggfest Cookbook. Wish me luck
What temp should i get the egg to? the directions say to get the cast iron skillet smoking. Well I will let ya'll know how it turns out.

Don't sweat the ribs. I did some Fri. at 250-275 Baby backs for 2 1/2 then wrapped with a shot 50/50 Wild Turkey and white wine vinigar in the foil for 45 min. then uncovered again for about 45 min. Some of the best I have done. The foster can't help. Have seen it done on the Egg vidio but don't remember temps. Bet it will work great thought. Would think it would be upward 450 but just me thinking. Bet your friends will be happy any way!

Ribs are looking good! I got a late start on ribs today also. I put mine on @ 4:30. They will be ready around 9:30. I guess we'll just have a late dinner tonight!

yep but don't say that to loud my wife might hear. :P It is perfect size for large egg.

my wife doesn't mind though...I've used it as a raised grid by itself (like in your pic) or to elevate a round grid. For BB ribs that's not too meaty you can cook them vertically in the slots.canuckland
